A year after a family tragedy, the father of the family, an accomplished rocket scientist, becomes convinced the world is quickly coming to an end, dragging his fractured and antagonistic family across the country to highjack a rocket launch before time runs out.
LOST AT SEA
Animated Adventure Comedy Pilot
Lost at Sea is a fifteen-minute animated adventure series aimed at pre-teens but accessible to all ages. The show is centered on ocean myths and folklore with a heavy dose of comedy to compliment. My grandfather, a great fisherman, inspired a deep love of the ocean in me when I was young so this show is largely thanks to him.
ON BEING GOOD
Dramatic Stage Play
Composed of nine vignettes connected by a small town and a cast of characters trying to be a "good person" at various points in their lives, with various definitions of what a "good person" even is. Originally commissioned by my alma mater high school to be produced by the theatre department the following spring.

ABOUT ALEX KING
Originally from New Jersey, Alex King is a Jewish Italian writer with a passion for comedy. Alex is in their last semester working towards a degree in Screenwriting at Chapman University's Dodge College of Media Arts. Preparing to launch into the industry, Alex has spent their college career working on their large portfolio of original scripts, ranging from features and television pilots to comic books and stage plays, along with the numerous self-produced short films that can be found above. Alex is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, always striving for new professional experiences that will expand their skill set and allow them to express their unique voice.
